A few guidelines
1. Most rentals run from Saturday to Saturday, although in the off season landlords are much more flexible.
2. Most accommodation comes complete with everything you need from linen and towels to crockery, cutlery etc.
3. In most cases a deposit is payable on arrival, in cash, to cover possible damages etc.There is also a charge for the final cleaning which must be paid locally.
4. Villas with pools and also beach front properties are available but usually at a higher cost.
5. As a general rule rooms are smaller than we are used to in Canada.
6. Highest rates apply in July and August - this is when the Europeans travel and they book a long time in advance.
7. Larger properties - for up to 30 people - are available as well 5- and 6-star properties, some with staff
